// Acceptance of Agreement
By placing an order for delivery outside the United States, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these International Terms & Conditions together with all applicable Source of Speed Policies & Legal. If you do not agree, do not place an international order.
// International Sales
All international sales are FINAL. Once an order enters processing it may not be cancelled, modified, returned, or exchanged except where non-waivable law requires otherwise.
// Order Review & Processing
Every international order is manually reviewed for product accuracy, export compliance, payment verification, destination restrictions, customs documentation, and shipment sensitivity.
SOS reserves the right to review, verify, approve, decline, modify, limit, or cancel any international order prior to shipment for operational standards, export compliance, fraud prevention, payment verification, destination restrictions, inventory availability, legal requirements, or any other legitimate business purpose.
SOS is a specialty engineering company—not a mass-volume fulfillment warehouse. Processing time is separate from carrier transit time, and expedited shipping does not reduce SOS review or processing time.
// Product Information
SOS provides product information in good faith. Final product selection, compatibility, installation, setup, tuning, testing, and overall system design remain the customer's responsibility. Manufacturer specifications govern third-party products where applicable. Assumptions are not engineering.
// Shipping
International shipments are made by UPS unless SOS expressly approves another method in writing. Transit times are estimates only. Customs, inspections, weather, government action, carrier interruptions, labor disputes, and other events beyond SOS control may delay delivery.
// Freight Forwarders
Freight carriers, freight forwarders, export companies, consolidators, and warehouse forwarding services require prior written approval. Delivery to the customer's designated forwarding service completes SOS's shipping obligation. SOS is not responsible for any handling, storage, export processing, relabeling, repackaging, customs activity, additional transportation, loss, theft, or damage occurring after transfer.
// Shipping Responsibility
Once a shipment has been accepted and scanned by the carrier, transportation responsibility transfers to the carrier in accordance with the carrier's published terms and conditions. Declared value coverage and shipping insurance are governed solely by the carrier or insurer. SOS will reasonably assist with claims but cannot guarantee carrier or insurance decisions.
// Inspection Upon Delivery
Inspect every shipment immediately. Notify SOS within two (2) business days of any damage, shortage, incorrect product, tampering, puncture, crushed carton, water intrusion, or concealed damage. Failure to note visible shipping damage with the delivering carrier at the time of delivery may affect available carrier remedies.
Retain all original packaging. Provide complete high-resolution photographs of every side of the carton, shipping label, packaging materials before removal, all damaged products from multiple angles, and all visible or concealed damage.
Failure to timely notify SOS, preserve packaging, or provide sufficient documentation may limit or prevent SOS's ability to assist with carrier, insurance, warranty, or shipping-related claims.
// Customs, Duties & Taxes
The customer is solely responsible for import legality, permits, duties, VAT, GST, brokerage, customs fees, taxes, storage charges, and all destination-country requirements. Refused, abandoned, or returned international shipments remain the customer's financial responsibility.
// Returns & Manufacturer Shipments
Do NOT ship products to any manufacturer or third party without prior written authorization from SOS.
SOS is not responsible for products shipped to manufacturers, distributors, installers, suppliers, freight terminals, freight forwarders, warehouses, repair facilities, or any address not expressly provided by SOS in writing. All resulting costs remain the customer's responsibility.
// Warranty
Third-party products are covered solely by the original manufacturer's warranty. SOS does not replace, modify, administer, or extend those warranties. SOS-manufactured products, where applicable, are governed exclusively by the separate written SOS Warranty.
// Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for providing accurate billing, shipping, tax, customs, and contact information; confirming compatibility; ensuring lawful import and use; following manufacturer instructions; and verifying proper installation, inspection, maintenance, and safe operation. The customer is responsible for ensuring the products may be lawfully imported, possessed, installed, and used within the destination country.
// Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SOS is not liable for customs delays, carrier delays, labor, installation, removal, towing, downtime, loss of use, missed events, lost profits, or consequential, incidental, or indirect damages. Any liability of SOS shall not exceed the amount paid to SOS for the product giving rise to the claim, where permitted by law.
// Force Majeure
SOS is not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, government action, labor disputes, war, terrorism, civil unrest, cyber incidents, supplier shortages, pandemics, or carrier interruptions.
// Policy Authority
No employee, representative, dealer, installer, manufacturer, distributor, freight carrier, freight forwarder, customs broker, or other third party may modify, waive, interpret, or create exceptions to these Terms unless expressly authorized by Source of Speed in writing.
Only written authorization issued by Source of Speed supersedes these Terms.
// Right to Refuse Service
SOS reserves the right to refuse service, decline sales, limit quantities, request additional verification, or cancel any order before shipment based on operational standards, export compliance, destination restrictions, fraud prevention, payment concerns, or other legitimate business reasons.
// Approved Markets
Source of Speed conducts business only in countries, territories, and markets that meet our standards for intellectual property protection, commercial integrity, operational reliability, legal compliance, and alignment with our business principles.
Source of Speed reserves the sole and exclusive right to determine which destinations qualify under these standards. Approved shipping destinations may be modified, restricted, suspended, or removed at any time without prior notice.
The availability of international shipping is a business decision made by Source of Speed and shall not be interpreted as an obligation to sell, ship, or conduct business within any particular country or territory.
Orders originating from, shipping to, transiting through, or involving destinations that do not meet Source of Speed's operational standards may be refused, cancelled, or declined at the sole discretion of Source of Speed.
If our website indicates "We do not ship to this destination," that message reflects Source of Speed's established operational policies and approved market standards.
Source of Speed reserves the right to verify the final destination of any shipment and may cancel any order if it reasonably believes products will be redirected to a destination that does not meet these standards.
// Export Compliance
Customers are responsible for complying with all applicable export, import, sanctions, and trade laws governing the purchase, shipment, receipt, possession, and use of products purchased from Source of Speed.
These Terms, together with the SOS FAQ, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy, and any applicable SOS Warranty, constitute the complete agreement governing international purchases.
Source of Speed reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Policy updates become effective upon publication to this website and apply to future orders placed after the effective date. Orders accepted prior to any revision remain governed by the Terms in effect at the time the order was accepted.
